Charlie Hammerslough founded Zoom Urban Gear in 2022 as the first company dedicated specifically to electric scooter accessories. Zoom Urban Gear designs, manufactures, and markets innovative products to enhance scooter riding. Our mission is to accelerate our society's transition to sustainable mobility.
He fell in love with riding electric scooters in Europe in 2021 and discovered a lack of scooter-specific accessories upon his return home. Before he became interested in electric scooters, his career was in academia and as a marketing data scientist.
As a partner at VSA Partners in Chicago, Hammerslough developed groundbreaking projects clients that included Kraft, Goose Island, and McDonald's. In 2012, he served as Director of Modeling for Obama for America, President Obama's re-election campaign.
